Game-Spectrum was birthed on September 19, 2005, back in the days of yore. It started as a small blog-like site, occasionally winning small portions of awesome on a weekly basis.
As time progressed, the site slowly grew into a more informational gaming website, with the standard forums, banner, and game articles. For a time, we were the traditional gaming website, though on a much smaller scale than most.
Now, we have evolved. Game-Spectrum will now truly live up to its namesake and cover all of gaming. We will not simply post the news far down on the front page. News will be given with in-depth reports of what press releases really mean for the gamers. And dammit, we’ll make sure it’s funny, interesting, or, at the very least, worth your time.
On top of that, we’re going to do what nobody’s done, have an informational blog that doesn’t come first as the site’s priority. Expect to see game reviews, previews, interviews, and feature articles which will go side-by-side with our blog. Any and all new articles we write will go up in the banner and stored away for safe keeping.
So, what is GS about? We’re about gaming news. We’re about games journalism. We’re about having a good time and keeping everyone in the know.
