If you were to gather all the latest rumors about the new Nintendo DS model, this is what it'd look like. Overall it looks great, but nothing dramatically different from the current Lite model, other than the top screen.
At first you may not be able to notice any huge differences, but what if you overlayed it with the current lite model?
As you can see, the top screen has been dramatically enlarged, while the bottom screen is also slightly bigger. The D-pad and A, B, X, Y buttons have also been re-adjusted slightly. Other than that it remains the same, basically, I'm more curious as to what'll be inside the damn thing, other than outside. How about a hard drive, Nintendo, so we can actually play the demos you offer? It just feels awkward standing in a Best Buy waiting for a demo to download, and then just start playing it right then and there.
If that doesn't become a reality, then at least allow us to download them from our own home. We can connecting to any Wi-Fi compatible game from any access point, yet we can't download any demos? What gives?
Last but not least, the sound quality needs an upgrade. I know this isn't an mp3 player, but c'mon. It's true that some current DS games do sound nice, but the majority aren't that great. Especially when the game is music-based, like Elite Beat Agents or Electroplankton.
