I haven't used the Rock Band guitar much, but from the time I had with it, I didn't hate it and I didn't like it. I was in between. I'm sure if I could use it a bit more I could get a definitive answer. I love the GH3 guitar though.

I finally had a chance to play Rock Band for a good amount of time and it is in fact much more fun that GH3. Easier, but more fun.

RB Guitar is horrible. At best buy i tried playing on medium and failed with it. You litterly cant hit a note. But they have a GH3 guitar avalible to play with and i found it fun. Hammer-ons are really fun to do for some reason. I like the drums.

I'm still loving my GH2, but after watching "Guitar Queer-o" on South Park the other night I can't help but laugh everytime I hear the buttons click!

As far as RB goes, I'm a bit apprehensive to give into the temptation. I suck at singing, and any friend that would be here to play it is just as bad. By matter of deduction then, if the game is only at its funnest when all elements are put together, and I couldn't get a singer, then I just don't see it being worth what little expendable cash I have.

GH3 on the other hand...

yes its probably funner with a full band but really the guitar is just has fun if not funner then gh3 by itself. plus its probably better without a singer cause you can listen to the real person sing.

well i found out that the pack is a waste of money for previous guitar owners considering that the live headset works for vocals. so if you want to spend 170 just for drums basically instead of wait a few months and still have all the instruments avaible ... be my guest.

I'll agree. Give it some time and I bet 2nd party accessories become available for cheaper.

Rock Band weekly DLC:

Via Joystiq.com:
QUOTE:
Clearly, it's a worthless struggle to bring the bands providing this week's downloadable Rock Band content together in one place. Not even Harmonix dared to assemble a catch-all track pack, only offering the three new tunes individually on the Xbox Live Marketplace and -- beginning Thursday -- the PlayStation Network.

Individual songs

* My Iron Lung -- Radiohead (160 MS Points / $2)
* Buddy Holly -- Weezer (160 MS points / $2)
* Brass in Pocket -- The Pretenders *Cover* (160 MS Points / $2)

You'll find videos of the songs after the break, along with our lingering curiosity as to what content next week will bring, if any.

-Source

My Iron Lung is a pretty awesome song. Rock Band is definitely getting some good DLC.
