Devil May Cry 4 Review

Best of the bottom of the barrel.

Ubisoft on Monday confirmed the newest Prince of Persia game, slated for release on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Nintendo DS this holiday

More than 100 NFL players wanted to be on the cover of Madden NFL 09. The man who ended up there couldn't care less about the series.

Baseball, the American pastime, has been imagined and adapted into a multitude of variable contexts (see future, monsters and pure casual). However, it’s the simulators which catch the most attention, and criticism, for offering players deep, engaging experiences. Sony Computer Entertainment of America San Diego’s MLB: The Show franchise has offered one of deepest baseball game opportunities out there for the past couple of years via the Playstation 2 and 3, as well as the PSP. While...

Often times, remakes and handheld versions of epic games just don’t seem to live up to their precedent-setting forerunners. Fortunately, this isn’t the case for Team Ninja’s latest ‘next-gen’ re-release, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and portable slide-and-slash Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword. Both effectively take the re-envisioned Ninja Gaiden universe, originally created for the Xbox, and expand on it in brutal and inventive ways.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Review (PS3)

Since its introduction in 1998, the Rainbow Six series has gone through its fair share of changes and different locales. Two years ago however, Ubisoft Montreal brought us to the streets, and casinos, of Sin City itself: Las Vegas. There, we were introduced to an insidious story of deceit, which was matched only by compelling gameplay. Left with a cliffhanger in the first game, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 not only finishes the story, but sticks to the successful precedent to deliver another satisfying t...

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X Announced

Today, Ubisoft have announced their next, newest installment to the Tom Clancy universe. Where once only special forces and foot-soldiers existed, H.A.W.X brings air-based combat into the picture. Against its most prominent competitor, the Ace Combat franchise, H.A.W.X looks to integrate a modern day storyline into action gameplay with the growing popularity of private military corporations (PMCs).

Official Okami Art Site

Originally published for the Playstation 2, Okami is making a return for this generation with a tune-up for the Wii. With a Japanese calligraphic theme, the game offers an artistic style distinct from other visually stimulating titles. To celebrate its re-release, Capcom has dedicated an official site just for the game's artistic prowess.

In the past couple of weeks, there has been rumors that our favorite, lighting-fast hedgehog was making a return in his own title. Today, SEGA officially announced the Sonic Unleased title, and with it, threw out a batch of formerly-unconfirmed screens and video. Included in the release, was news of the new propietary engine, the "Hedgehog Engine," specifically tailored for the game.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot (X360/PS3)

Monolith is known for their ability to scare gamers through convincingly-haunting environments, and psychologically-demented gameplay. Almost three years ago Condemned: Criminal Origins was released on the Xbox 360, introducing players to a city plagued with violent transients and a serial killer on the loose. While the game did well in implementing melee-based combat in eerie settings, there were enough loose ends in the story to keep players scratching their heads once everything was done. Con...

In the spririt of giving away free stuff without having to expend much effort, Game-Spectrum and Codemasters have joined forces to hand out Turning Point: Fall of Liberty merchandise to a few creative individuals.

Lost: Via Domus Review (PS3)

Historically, licensed games, based off of television shows and movies, don’t necessarily translate well to the video game format. ABC’s show “Lost,” tells the story of the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 and their misadventures trying to get off of a mysterious island. One sentence outlining the show doesn’t come close to a sufficient summary of the show, deep with plot twists. Ubisoft’s Lost: Via Domus, acknowledges the complexity that is the Lost canon and ...

Iron Man Cast Voices Game Too

The fully licensed game based off of the upcoming movie Iron Man, is set to include the voice work of the Hollywood stars. Robert Downey Jr., Terence Howard and Shaun Toub will all make the jump from the big screen to virtual identities for a simultaneous May 2 release of both the game and movie.

Battlefield: Bad Company Beta Test

The next installment int he Battlefield franchise is set for a June 2008 release, and EA is putting together a beta test program to test out two of game's multiplayer maps. There a few ways players will get an early look into just how the environmental destructibility will work.

Logitech G9 Review

For most people, the mouse they use is of little concern. "So long as it isn't a ball mouse," they'll say nowadays. "I can't stand those." They have a point: laser mice are certainly better, but the market is flooded with them. Which one should you get?

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty Review (X360/PS3)

What-if scenarios: such hypothetical utterances can invoke a great amount of imagination and contemplation. There are many instances throughout history where ‘what if’ might entail disastrous implications. Thus is the premise of Spark Unlimited’s Turning Point: Fall of Liberty. In an alternate history, Turning Point takes the World War II shooter out of Europe and puts it on American territory. Unfortunately, while the premise is intriguing, the actual gameplay is anything but....
