Midway today released a downloadable map pack for the acclaimed 3rd-person action adventure title, Stranglehold, for the PlayStation 3 system. The map pack features 10 additional multiplayer maps ranging from the Kowloon Market to Wong's Estate Grounds to the Rooftops of Chicago, as well as 21 all-new multiplayer character skins.
The latest rumor is that we'll be getting some nice and shiny white PlayStations 3's sometime soon. White PlayStation 3's are currently only available in Japan, when they were released on November 11th, 2007.
Sony announced today that it will stop selling the two original PlayStation 3 models in Japan and focus on the new slimmed down version amid fierce competition from rival Nintendo Co. Sony's game unit said it would end shipments of PlayStation 3's with 20- and 60-gigabyte hard disk drives this month in its domestic market.
The Devil May Cry franchise was never a real interest to me. I'd seen a few clips as to what it was like, but never got my hands on it. At the time I didn't feel like I was missing out on much, so it wasn't a big deal to me. Sony has just released their early 2008 line-up. While the list isn't spectacular, keep in mind this is just for the early part of 2008. But even so, it does have a few good titles, and one which is sure to make a few PlayStation 3 owners wet.
